Hello 2017

Time will tell as to what this coming year will bring us.  To bring the blog up to date there hasn't been  a lot of action to discuss.  There are a number of issues that will delay any further travel for a couple of months so we'll just do this quick update and go from there........

For the Christmas holiday we harassed Tom & Jean in Melbourne.  Lots of fun was had and we even exchanged presents.
Christmas in Melbourne

From there we kept moving south and had Christmas dinner on board Nati with Robie, our friend on sv Celest.  Anne made a great dinner and Robie ate most of it!  Well, maybe not but he isn't here to defend himself.

Afterward we continued our journey south and jumped offshore at West Palm Beach and did a 70+ mile run to Miami, arrived in the dark and found a quiet anchorage near Virginia Key.  Right after that we had some nice north wind come in and we had a good sail to Alabama Jacks for conch fritters with sv Kismet.  The following day we sailed down Hawk Channel to Tavernier Key, where Nati is now.

The channel into our dock is very narrow

The location for Nati for a couple of months is well protected so when we aren't there we don't have to be concerned for her.  All is set for a departure sometime in March so standby for further updates then.

For now......Happy 2017 and lets keep our fingers crossed that it will be a gang buster year!!๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
