Pushing north

OK, the latest guests are winging it back to CNY, Syracuse is still in the NCAA playoffs and we still have to make it to the Abacos for Teagan and Co.  So it's time to keep moving north and not goof off for a few days.

Off to Royal Island we go...........it's about 55 miles and we are trying to make Current Cut with either a slack or following current.  We have heard the tides can stop a sailboat or a low powered vessel from getting through the cut.  Since we have to make tracks we're hoping we have timed it right.  It seems everyone has an opinion as to when high tide is and the best time to go through.  Well, we just keep moving towards it and the gods are with us and we only have a 3 knot current against us so no problem with Nati.

After a short night at Royal Island we head out at dawn and head for the Abacos!  The wind is behind us, REALLY behind us so there isn't much since to put out the main and just in case a t-storm comes up we can furl the jib and then we would be sitting cozy.

Made it!  Two nights in Buckaroon Bay and then we move up to near Boatyard Marina to stay out of the NW winds that are forecast.  Then do come through but we miss most of the storm and just have two good nights on the hook.  We are only 7 miles from Marsh Harbor so we will have no problem finding the next guests.
