WOW……Look who is in Georgetown!

It is always amazing how small the boating world is when you spend a great deal of time on the water.  Upon returning to Georgetown we had a few goals of boat maintenance, laundry, provisioning and then we would determine what will be our next move…….well, change of plans!!

First we were getting ready to move our anchorage location when out of the blue we are hailed by Cool Cat.  We didn't immediately recognize the voice and after a minute it was not "Cool Cat" but "Cool Cat 1".  That meant that Paul & Kathryn were in the harbor and they were on their 60' Enticelle catamaran.  What a boat!

We had dinner with those guys last night and had a lot of laughs and brought back old Hobie days.  We will see them so more as they will be around through the "Family Regatta" and are doing boat maintenance.

Next up…..Team "Hambone".  That included Art, Nancy, Scott, Adam and Rachael.  Out of the blue Anne hears "Hambone" calling "Crazy Lady" and she figures there is only one Hambone and sure enough, they are down on Exuma doing a family vacation.  They boated over to see Nati and the next night we had dinner with them. Thanks for the great dinner, You guys!

We have decided to stick around in George Town for the famous Family Regatta.  The really cool event kicks off this Friday and goes through next week with lots of racing, fun, entertainment; all Bahamian style so we are looking forward to seeing it.

Go to:  http://www.nationalfamilyislandregatta.com  to see for yourself.  With luck we will have some great pictures for the next update.

Lastly, Dingh-go has a new motor and our old 9.8hp is going to England on the backend of Cariad.  Hattie, their youngest daughter came over with Dad to inspect the motor and gave her OK so the deal was done.
